Dear Dr. Performance,
Approximately one year ago I took my 2000 Ford F350
to your shop to have the injectors and computer reprogrammed. Here
is what the results are: ·
- Without Dr. Performance- Driving down I-4 at 60 mph
in 6th gear I pushed the accelerator to the floor. At 70 mph
I started my stopwatch and when I reached 80 mph I stopped the
stopwatch. It took 8.4 seconds to go from 70 to 80 mph. ·
- With Dr. Performance- Same procedure as above, except now,
time to 80 mph is 4.2 seconds! That is a 50% improvement!
I use my truck to pull a 35' Contender offshore fishing
boat with 500 gallons of fuel, dive gear, fishing gear, etc
the
boat weighs in at over 12,000 lbs. My truck will pull my boat 80 mph
down the turnpike if I want to, but number one it is illegal and number
two, I wouldn't be able to stop fast enough in a panic situation.
One would probably think my fuel mileage would go south
with all this new found power, it is exactly the same as before. I
personally can not recommend Dr. Performance enough for my power stroke
engine. For people who need to be able to pull large heavy loads, you
people have the solution and the know how to make an engine perform.
Do I sound like a satisfied customer? You bet I am!
Sincerely,
Jeff Cherry
Dear Dr. Performance,
I was just cleaning out my desk and found this warranty
paper in my truck folder and noticed that it had not been mailed. So
I am enclosing it now.
I love my (Dr. Performance) Dodge truck. It is a 1997
1-ton super cab, automatic transmission and with the Dr. Performance
kit it runs and pulls like a top. The difference in pulling is unbelievable
and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
I am sorry I did not get it mailed but if indeed my
warranty on the truck is voided please let me know.

Dear Dr. Performance,
This letter is sent to let you know how satisfied we
are with the job you did for our pickup.
We were only able to make the hills at 25 miles per
hour with the 5th wheel on and now we are making the hills at 55 to
60 mph. What a difference. We are so satisfied with the performance
we are getting.
We also think we are getting a little bit better mileage
on our fuel. We actually got 12 mph with the one tank on the straightaway
otherwise we are getting about 11.
We have the Dodge 98, 24 valve Cummings Diesel.
Thank you again for your work on our pickup we are
so happy with the job that you did.
Sincerely,
Verl and Marlene Mangum
Dear Dr. Performance,
My trip home was much different than my trip to you.
In case you don't remember me, I'm the fellow who pulled his 29 foot
5th wheel from Beaverton, Oregon to Kellogg to get the Phase III put
on my 2000 Dodge Ram 2500 with automatic transmission.
On my way to you I was in 4th gear almost all the way
and I got 8.1 miles per gallon. On my way home, for the first 70 miles,
before the headwind and the rainstorm, I could take the hills in overdrive
with power to spare. On the way back, I averaged 14.4 miles per gallon.
Another wonderful thing about your modification is that it was like
I didn't even have the 5th wheel behind me. The truck was amazing,
even with the 11,260-pound trailer.
Yesterday I drove around town making deliveries. It
was basically empty. I can't tell you how shocked I was at the end
of the day to see that I averaged 28.2 miles per gallon. What's more
amazing is that with all the extra power, I was constantly putting
my foot in the throttle to play.
Thank you, thank you. It was well worth the torture
of 15 hours of driving and getting home past 1 a.m. That's all behind
me and now I am ready to travel. When I hit 20,000 miles I'll be seeing
you again, for sure, for the rest of the upgrades. Until then, take
care and keep making those customers happy.
Sincerely,
Frank Oulman
Fellow TDR Members:
The reason I am writing, is to tell you about a product & service
that has helped me greatly. The product is by Dr. Performance Fuel
Systems.
I pull mostly up and down the East Coast
and run the Pa Mountains. Before I invested in the Dr. Performance
Fuel system, I was completely disgusted with the way my truck ran.
If any of you has hauled a load up across the Pa. Mountains on Rt81,
you know it can really work your truck, in and out of overdrive constantly,
with other haulers passing you like you were sitting still. Now, I
can honestly say, I can take a 39 ft, 12,000lb travel trailer across
those mountains without thinking about coming out of overdrive!
Thanks,
Newton Crim
